So, ITV2′s The Exclusives began tonight, and although I started to watch an hour after everybody else thanks to my Desperate Housewives DVD, I have to say I am bloody hooked!

So, for those of you who don’t know the concept, which let’s be honest is pretty bad considering ITV2 summed it up in a bloody 30-second advert, shame on you! It documents the lives of six wannabe creative reporters who are competing for a hefty 12-month contract with one of Europe’s largest magazine publishers! Blimey.

Already I have two stand out’s, who have so far managed to make me laugh so hard and definitely have what it takes to go all the way. Hell, I’d happily invite them to guest blog here! You’d all love that!

I’m really rooting for Stuart at the moment, mainly because I relate to him the most, like him, I’d been indecisive about career choices, and the guy has no actual qualifications for journalism, but hey neither do I and I’ve managed to create my own site and take it from strength to strength and I’m loving every minute of it!

The fact he didn’t know who the guys from Made In Chelsea and his reluctance to ‘kiss their arse’ made me giggle a fair bit!

Secondly, I am love love LOVING Hayley. She’s got attitude, and some of the things she comes out with just makes me howl! That and she lives fairly close to where I’m originally from! Birmingham, but shush.

She definitely has that feisty attitude that is needed to make it in the industry! I’d actually quite like to hang out with her and our very own resident fashionista Cara and have a merry time on the Lambrini! I’m obviously kidding, we’re classy!! 

Definately looking forward to seeing what these two bring in the coming episodes!

It’s been a while since Katy Perry and Russell Brand announced their divorce, and now that have a break up song and an arrest between them they’ve began to move on…

When Russell Brand went on to the Ellen show he began to properly open up about his break up Katy Perry and had so many nice things to say about her. Awhhh.

He said that he only had “love for her as a human being” and said he regretted that their relationship didn’t work out. He added that he only had “positivity for her” because she’s an “amazing human being” but he quite rightly said that it doesn’t always work out in a relationship.

That’s actually really quite sweet, no? Or is he trying to get the public on his side? See what you make of the interview below:

Such sad news today… Disco legend, Donna Summer lost her battle with cancer this morning, aged just 63!

Her family said in a statement:

“Early this morning, we lost Donna Summer Sudano, a woman of many gifts, the greatest being her faith,”

“While we grieve her passing, we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy.

“Words truly can’t express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time.”

Donna Summer is best know for hits such as ‘I Feel Love’, ‘Hot Stuff’, ‘Last Dance’ and ‘Bad Girls’.

During her career she won five Grammy awards, and had a Top 40 hit in the Billboard Hot 100 every single year from 1976 to 1984!

Well, I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever seen K-Stew looking this smoking hot EVER. The Snow White and the Huntsman star recently manned it up a little for a new spread in the latest issue of Elle…

The normally socially awkward actress also opened up about her family life but as usual nothing about her love life, so a pretty boring interview if you ask me!

When she was about the gold ring which she wears on her index finger, which is thought to be from R-Pattz, she said: ‘Everyone wants to know. Everyone knows already—it’s ridiculous,’

Er, pretty sure we don’t Kristen!

She also went on to say that she thinks she’s ‘boring’, she said: ‘You can learn so much from bad things. I feel boring. I feel like, “Why is everything so easy for me?” I can’t wait for something crazy to fucking happen to me. Just life. I want someone to fuck me over! Do you know what I mean?’

Wow, R-Pattz must be treating her right then, if she’s begging to be fucked over!

Great news UK Kelly Clarkson fans or ‘Kelebrities’, she has just announced details of her upcoming UK arena tour!

She will perform five arena dates across the UK in October, starting at Manchester Arena and finishing up in London’s Wembley Arena.

She will be performing her newest hits Mr Know It All and Stronger as well as some of her old stuff too!

Her newest album Stronger entered the charts at number five last year and has sold to date just over one million copies worldwide. Pretty impressive Kels.

Tickets for the dates go on sale Friday, May 18 at 9am. So if you want your tickets I suggest early bed, call in late to work and get booking!

Kelly Clarkson’s UK tour dates are as follows.

Marcus Collins has been in the news this week moreover for his Twitter fallout with the extra from TOWIE but lets focus on his new single, Mercy, OK?

After Marcus covered The White Stripes for his first solo single I was worried that this could make him a bit of a ‘copycat’.

Mercy debuted on YouTube on April 24th and since then its been favourited in my playlist.

He’s really embraced soul for this 2nd single.  An original song its got infectious trumpet melodies and an impressive array of lyrical genius.

We know from the X Factor that Marcus is a great singer but there is only so much “Oh”, “C’mon” and “YEAHs” that a person can take and to be perfectly honest, there is slightly too much ad lib in this song.

WE LOVE: The soul. Reminds us of Duffy.

WE DISLIKE: The streched vocal range. He’s trying too much to show it off and sometimes he sounds strained. Also, who wants music notes shaved into their head? Hope that one doesn’t catch on.

We award Mercy 3 stars out of 5.

I think I’ll be adding an extra feature to IBH with all of these Twitter rows happening like every other day! In the red corner we have rapper Pro Green feeding the pony, and in the stable we have Made In Chelsea’s Victoria Baker-Harber. Burn!!!

So, first off how AMAZING was Monday’s episode of Made in Chelsea?! The whole Jamie, Lousie and Spencer saga is coming to a boil and I can’t stop looking at the car crash! Anyway, following the scene in which Victoria (The one that looks like she could give Sarah Jessica Parker a run for her money in the horse stakes) said that she would like to slap Millie for allowing Louise to cheat on Jamie with the douche (Spencer). Pro Green had obviously heard enough and took to Twitter to slam Victoria Baker-Harber.

Professor Green, who’s girlfriend is the beautiful Millie Mackintosh, tweeted HILARIOUSLY: ‘Did I just see a horse say it’d slap Millie?

‘Apologies, I’m nowhere near as dignified as the other half when it comes to these situations, I call a spade a spade, a horse a horse.’

Victoria has quite amusingly been referred to as a horse in the past because she hit back at his tweet: ‘I’m so offended by your eloquent manner. Sorry, do you need a dictionary for that?’

So Pro Green immediately began criticise her most classist comment: ‘You have a foul mouth and you have a foul mouth. That might take you a while to work of course being of the underclass I’d need a dictionary to understand a word which does not in any way apply to you. Amazing retort, incredible.’

Vicky then replies: ‘Whoever is ignorant enough to think I could ever possibly be jealous of some girl who’s fucked half of London… Is WRONG!” EXCUSEEEEEEEE ME

‘It’s surprising you know what a horse looks like @professorgreen Not many of those roaming the hackney estates darling!’

He then replied: ‘You can’t help but continually prove what a nasty piece of work you are… continue, please.’

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, it does. Wait for it… Fucking Lily Allen, who is also pals with Pro Green, jumped to his defence, saying: ‘OMG what a twat  @victoriaBH  is being to you, ubersnob doesnt even cover it.” Seriously, I was LOVING this!

Victoria who knew she was clearly outnumbered got down from her high horse (Get it HAHAHA), writing: ‘Anything to do with ‘snob’ implies something. And it shouldn’t. And it is not a case of background. Its 2012. Who cares. Goodnight.’

Professor Green of course managed to get the final word, saying: Going to totter off back to a hackney estate where i won’t run into any horses. i’ll be wearing a tracksuit and smoking b&h gold.

‘Just going to check the meaning of the word ‘contradiction’ in the dictionary, after which I’m going to bed. Night x’

Amazing.

Even after all of this, Victoria spent the majority of yesterday defending herself: ‘I’m sorry if I’ve offended anyone with my comments. They were in retaliation but I shouldn’t have responded that way! Heat of the moment!’

So, It”s official by this picture. Demi Lovato is the final addition to the X Factor USA’s judging panel, joining Britney, LA Reid and Simon Cowell for the show’s second season…

There is no word at the moment about how much the 19-year old singer will be making. I’m pretty sure it wont be anything near Britney’s reported $15 Million, but i’m sure she won’t be disappointed.

An official announcement is expected from FOX in the next few hours!

Let’s just hope that these ladies make it long enough for the show’s third run if they get picked up for it, we all know what Simon’s like when he gets bored!

Last night, Susan, Lynette, Gabby and Bree took one final walk down that famous street where everybody knows their name… In the emotional two-hour season finale, we saw the shocking and surprising conclusion to Bree’s court-case, Lynette and Tom finally reunited, Susan deciding it really is time to leave Wisteria Lane and poor Mrs McClusky taking her final breaths after shaking things up one last time before she “Checks out” as she so amusingly put it.

Yes, In truth Desperate Housewives has in one way or the had an impact on our lives, hell they’ve been on our TV screens more or less every week for the past eight years and we’ve lived their lives with them. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and we’ve even screamed at our television screens.

To celebrate the end of the show, I am excited to present you with six of the most memorable moments for the series exclusively on I Blame Hollywood along with a little help from a friend… Dean has been my Desperate Housewives buddy for the last couple of years and we’d regularly chat about what has happened in the last episode and what was next to come, so I am really thrilled to be sharing my final desperate moment here with him.

Below are my three memorable moments from the show…

Mary Alice’s secret is revealed in One Wonderful Day (Season One, Episode 23)

For a whole season we were captivated by Mary Alice’s deadly secret slowly unravelling itself. Were we really going to find out what caused her to kill herself? Of course we were, but in true shocking and dramatic style that we have come to know and love from the show. It’s revealed in the season finale that Mary Alice was so desperate for a baby that she and her loony husband couldn’t conceive, and the truth finally comes out after Paul is kidnapped by Mike after he suspects it was he who killed his druggie ex-girlfriend. He explains that twelve years earlier, Dierdre, sold Mary Alice and Paul her baby. The couple then relocated to Wisteria Lane to avoid the discovery of their crime. Sometime later, a sober Dierdre finally tracked them down and attempted to take her son back. Mary Alice stabbed and killed Dierdre to prevent her from taking Zach. So after all was said and done, Mary Alice and Paul burried Dierdre’s body beneath their pool as you do!

Susan breaks down in a wedding dress in the middle of the street in I Wish I Could Forget You (Season Two, Episode 6)

After giving Zach money to disappear to protect Julie from him, Susan has been trying to keep this secret from Mike who was revealed to be his biological son. Mike quickly learns the truth of Susan’s betrayal and runs to her and demands from her if she sent Zach away. Susan tries to explain herself but when she replies “Yes” he runs out of the house upset and betrayed. Susan chases after him in her mother’s wedding dress, and tugs at our heart strings as she tells him that she loves him and begs for a second chance. Mike drives away from her and Susan sits in the middle of the street sobbing as Bree, Lynette and Gabrielle coming running to comfort Susan.

We say goodbye to the ladies and to the ghosts of Wisteria Lane in the final episode Finishing The Hat (Season Eight, Episode 23)

Bree has finally been acquitted for the murder of Gabby’s step-father that they all helped to cover up. So, after one last game of poker, the girls vow to still see eachother, but as Mary Alice reveals in her soothing sunny tone, within weeks of Susan’s departure the group of friends separate together. Lynette and Tom who are now back together and move to New York, where they live happily in a penthouse apartment overlooking Central Park, and Lynette works as a CEO. Bree and Trip marry and move to Kentucky, where Bree becomes a Republican member of the state legislation. While, Gabrielle forms her own online lingerie company, heads her own Home Shopping Network show, and moves to California with Carlos, where they still fight but are truly committed to each other.

As Susan departs from the lane for the final time, the ghosts of Wisteria Lane watch he drive by, including Mike and the person that started the whole show, Mary Alice.

The final scene shows that life goes on in the neighborhood, as Jennifer, the woman who bought Susan’s house, hides a mysterious jewelry box in a locked closet drawer while Mary Alice comments that mystery and despair will continue to exist within Wisteria Lane.

The street gets blown apart, literally in Welcome To Kanagawa (Season 4, Episode 10)

Desperate Housewives has become known for it’s ability to evoke emotion in a person and this scene does it so effortlessly and with such a small action. After the tornado wrought complete devastation on the lane and left the lives of Lynette’s family hanging in the balance we come to find that Ida Greenberg has sacrificed her life in the Scavo’s basement in order to save Tom and the children. As Edie goes on a rant about how the women of the lane should all be preparing Lynette for the worst, Karen, Susan and Bree all agree that they should pray and “hope for a miracle”. Tom and the children are eventually pulled to safety by the rescue crew as Karen stands optimistically waiting for Ida to also be saved. Unfortunately Tom confirms the worst with a gentle shake of his head. Watching the heartbreak set in across Karen’s face we get to see one of Edie’s most touching moments when she walks over to Karen’s side and takes her hand, offering Karen the support she needs while Mary Alice narrates: “Yes, in the wake of a great tragedy people do what they can to help, all the while knowing it won’t be enough.”

Tragedy stikes once again on Wisteria Lane in Bang (Season 3, Episode 7)

In the middle of their custody battle over Kayla, Lynette and Nora also find themselves in the middle of a hostage situation at the local super market. Caroline Bigsby has just found out that her husband’s been cheating on her and takes his supermarket hostage in an effort to confront him. Obviously he’s reluctant to face his wife as she’s armed with a gun and threatening to shoot him!Unfortunately for Lynette, Nora is unable to keep her mouth shut about the custody agreement and draws the attention of Caroline who demands that they stop talking. Nora, in what appears to be the most deadly case of verbal diarrhoea ever, confesses to Caroline that Lynette is attempt to take away her daughter. Caroline turns her gun towards Lynette as she blurts out that Nora tried to seduce her husband Tom.This is all the ammunition Caroline needs to put a bullet straight through Nora’s chest. As Nora lies dying she swears Lynette to the promise that she’ll love Kayla and raise her as one of her own.Felicity Huffman is a great actress and you can feel the pain of her character Lynette as Nora is taking her last breaths. Even with everything they went through Lynette would never wish harm on Nora and in a moment of anger Lynette tempts fate with her rant to Caroline: “We all have pain but we don’t go around shooting people…. maybe you deserved to be cheated on!”

Gabby breaks down when her ‘adopted’ child is taken away from her in It Wasn’t Meant To Happen (Season 2, Episode 20)

Any scene where Gaby gets emotional, whether she’s confessing to Carlos about what Alejandro did to her as a child or she’s telling the story about her poor upbringing in Mexico, she always gets to me. I think Eva is a really underrated actress because on this show she would usually gets the lighter more comedic story lines but when they give her something with depth and emotion, she can set off emotions in me that I didn’t even know were there.

This particular scene is one of Eva’s best. Gaby eventually realises that she wants to become a mother after suffering a miscarriage. Carlos and Gaby go through the process of adoption, even with the mishaps that occur throughout the process they eventually get to take home their own beautiful baby girl: Lily. 

Unfortunately the birth father convinces the birth mother they should take back custody and raise the baby together. Both biological parents arrive at the Solis house along with law enforcement to take back custody of their child. A police offer has to hold Gaby back as their baby Lily is taken away and Gaby is screaming: “You can’t take her away, it’s too late, we’ve already fallen in love with her.”

Oh dear oh dear, Seem’s Jessie J has been doing it like a bitch if rumours of her snubbing BBC One controller Danny Cohen are to be believed…

Jessie, who shot to instant fame with ‘Do It Like A Dude’ in 2010, has been accused of being a “diva” who is “impossible to work with” in a new report from The Mirror and reportedly is at risk of being axed from The Voice UK.

A source has claimed: “Jessie is getting far too big for her boots. Nobody can believe what an impossible diva she has become. It was extraordinary, Danny is the most senior man at BBC One and The Voice is his baby.

“He was the man who gave Jessie J a job and turned her into a household name, so nobody could believe it when she left him standing outside in the corridor like a lemon. It was made clear that she was too busy to see him.”

The source continued: “It’s not a smart move to do that to the man who makes the big decisions. Everybody else at the studio was bending over backwards to be nice to Danny, but Jessie didn’t seem to care who he was.”

Hmmmm, Jessie always seems so humble and appreciative of what she has achieved. Seems like a ratings ploy to me!
